Paid vs Free Proxies (HTTP)

Paid proxies are of much higher quality than free proxies, however they can be costly. Why are paid proxies better than free proxies? With free proxies, anybody can use them. This results in free proxies being used by thousands of bots daily, as they need to handle so many requests from bots, they are far slower than paid proxies. Not only this, but they are more likely to be ratelimited or banned from Roblox. Many free proxies are used by Roblox botters already, this means that Roblox may already be blocking that IP from sending lots of requests before you already use it.

Why can't anybody else use my paid proxies?

With paid proxies, authentication is needed to use them. Authentication is a way of ensuring that only people who bought the proxies are using them. There are two main methods of authentication.

IP Authentication - Used by Proxyscrape, Webshare and Fineproxy

IP authentication works by giving the proxy website your IP on their website. This allows any proxy requests sent from your IP to not be rejected by their proxy servers, making it exclusive to you.

Username & Password Authentication - Used by Webshare

This works by giving a user & password that is intended to be included with your proxies file. For example: user:[e-mail]:80

This is the only user:pass IP format that Versatile currently supports.
